I like them because they cast a country mile, which can be essential in reaching scattered boils of largemouth bass and striped bass at places like Lake Pleasant. But I have also used Zipping Ziggy’s effectively for smallmouth bass at Powell in the fall. A hundred or so smallies on topwater will make you arm weary, but it’s autumn fishing heaven amongst the red cliffs. Rory Hey, those zippers are great at times.
