Lorenzo, You can use your boat as long as you keep the outboard up & out of the water (more or less). If you have an inboard/ outboard then it will be fine as long as you don't use or start your gas engine.

Willow Springs is open, Woods Canyon is not. Black Canyon is accessible from Heber. So is Chevelon (but not via the Rim Road). Also, Blue Ridge Reservoir is open and the lake is overflowing. This is going to be a great fishing year in the high country. Back-to-back years of superb snow pack should create some of the best fishing conditions we have seen in two decades or more.

Hey Doug,

Woods canyon lake is not open yet, I talked to the black mesa ranger station today and vicky said that the 300 road could possibly be open for Easter weekend. She said they are using a tractor to remove some of the big snow/ice drifts off the 300 road, try calling them on thursday afternoon, the # is (928)535-4481. Willow springs has been open since Wed. March 25th. Black canyon and blue ridge res. are also open. The stocking schedule is on this website. Hope this helps, and Good fishing !!!!

Depends on where you are talking about. If you are looking for campgrounds on some national forest, then you need to contact them, then State Parks has its own campgrounds, as does the various National Parks etc. Not to mention all the private ones. There is no one size or one phone number to fit all that I know of. If you have a computer, do a Google search on the area you want to visit. By the way, although some of our wildlife areas allow camping, we are really in the wildlife business and don’t operate much in the way of camping.

Sorry I couldn’t be more help. But if you go camping in the high country, please be bear aware. Keep all you food stuffs secured away from your sleeping area
