Thanks for letting me know that I'm not the only one to come off of Blue Ridge empty. I have never caught the green sunfish you mentioned. We saw a little surfice activity at dusk. Could that have been sunfish?

Hello-
Saturday 10-17 I fished Blue Ridge Reservoir both from shore and canoe with no success. Also briefly fished the morning of 10-18 without success either. I tried different colors of PowerBait, worms, spinners, trolling with diver Rapalas, etc. I also spoke with many on the lake and not a sole had caught anything. I did catch a few green sunfish at dusk on Saturday and was wondered what would have been the appropriate way to handle them? Understanding that Blue Ridge Reservoir is managed for trout, would it have been legal/appropriate to pull them? Not knowing I released the three that I caught.
Thanks,
Greg
