On Nov. 13, we are stocking trout in the Urban Program lakes, including the two in the Tucson area. You can catch ‘bows all winter at those locations. Or head farther afield and we stock trout in the Lower Salt River near Phoenix, the Verde River (between Cottonwood and Camp Verde), Beaver Creek, Oak Creek and West Clear Creek. The lake is only closed to vehicles at that time, anglers are still allowed to hike to the lake. Otherwise, try Parker Canyon lake near Sierra Vista, you'll find plenty of trout and during the week you can just about have the place to yourself.
