BONUS BLUEGILL STOCKED AFTER WEEKEND EVENTS

As part of National Hunting and Fishing Day celebrations this past weekend, the Bass Pro Shops in Mesa and the Sportsman’s Warehouse in Tucson hosted fishing clinics for kids. The youngsters were thrilled to catch the aggressive and feisty bluegill from the temporary tanks. At the end of the programs, the fish were donated to the Urban Fishing Program. Thousands of the bluegill were loaded up and stocked into nearby Urban waters including: Red Mountain, Riverview and Water Ranch lakes in the east valley, and Kennedy and Silverbell lakes in Tucson.
