I planned to be at the lake at 5 a.m. Saturday morning (5/17). I rigged my two poles with a shrimp, a hot dog and a nightcrawler and a hot dog. Within 30 minutes I caught a 3-pounder on a hot dog. Replaced shrimp with a hotdog, 20 minutes later I caught a 5-pounder on a hot dog. Replaced nightcrawler with hot dog. In 35 minutes I had fish on both poles, one 3-pounder and one-one/half pound.
