Tucson Rough Riders 4WD Club’s annual Adopt-a-Ranch project – Clean up at the Rail X Ranch
Additional volunteers are very welcome.
Where: The meeting place is in Catalina at the Basha’s parking lot, at State Route 77 and Golden Ranch Road. Volunteers will then convoy to the ranch, which is just outside Catalina.
Description: Each year the Tucson Rough Riders 4WD Club holds a clean up event on the Rail X Ranch. Along with cleaning the environment, this project helps maintain public access for recreation and helps improve relations between landowners and the public. Gloves, bags, tools, and a trailer are provided by AZ Game and Fish Dept.
The project will require volunteers to use their own vehicles to travel around the ranch and search for litter.
Bring gloves, sunscreen, and water.
Contact: For more info on this project please visit www.tucsonroughriders.com or contact Troy Christensen, AGFD Public Access Program Coordinator at: (623)236-7492 or tchristensen@azgfd.gov.
