Join the Sonoran Desert Weedwackers and do your part in restoring the health of the desert. The Weedwackers work to eradicate buffelgrass and fountain grass in Tucson Mountain Park. Description:
This free, hands-on outdoor exposition allows the whole family to experience a wide range of outdoor activities: view live wildlife, try your hand at archery, take your kids fishing at the family fishing area, walk an outdoor educational field course/trail, try out different firearms on the shooting range, learn about OHV and boating recreation and safety, attend workshops, visit with more than 100 outdoor groups, agencies and vendors.
Admission and parking are free. Some venues charge a nominal fee for ammunition. The food court will have food and beverages for sale.
