Don't exactly know what you mean by dark. The antelope? He had nice dark, thick antlers. The light? It was a little after 7am. As far as the shot goes, he probably wouldn't want me to say, but my dad misjudged the distance and shot over the bucks back twice the first chance he got. About 5 - 10 minutes later, we cut the buck off going around a hill. I was able to range him at 425 yards when he stepped out broadside. Dad had time to lay down and use his backpack for a rest and he didn't miss that time.

I can't express to you guys and gals how happy I am to be able to do this for my Dad. He dragged me around hunting since I was 10. I scouted for over a month for this hunt. We weren't able to get the biggest buck in the area but he is very respectable. I'm just glad I was able to give a little back.
