Description: I missed this buck opening morning and I thought I blew my chance at him,but saturday in the rain I was able to get within 240 yards of him and make the shot!

ya what up with the colar and ear tag ?
IT LOOKS LIKE A TRACKING COLAR AROUND HIS NECK. IF SO WHAT DO U HAVE TO DO IN THAT SITUATION DO U CALL GAME AND FISH AND LET THEM NO U SHOT A COLARED ANTELOPE AND GIVE THEM THE NUMBER ON THERE EAR OR WHAT? OR WAS THAT SHOT ON A RANCH OR SOMETHING?

No, he was not shot on a ranch, this was a 100% DIY hunt in unit 7!!!I dont know what the tag and gps collar are about yet.I'm sure game & fish are going to call me and give the info on that.The taxidermist seems to think he was transplanted from another unit or they maybe just wanted to track some antelope in that area for the highway project.

I took a unit 7 buck as well but, I never saw this one. Guess my scouting needs some work.
